Teas We Like tasting panel evaluation

5g/85ml gaiwan, toronto filtered tap

Dry leaf is tippy, with strong compression. Dark brown, golden, black. Wet leaf has pungent resin, and is high pitched with some brassiness, as expected from the tips.

  1. refreshing, super pungent sweet honey aroma off liquor. excellent empty cup aroma. solid orange. Very pleasant proper mid-aged taste. Good astringency. Very nice uplifting energy, spreading with slow waves. Good first steep!
  2. The arrival is mostly medicinal-bitter wood, but it has a strong impact. Thirst-quenching, bittersweet, and quite big mouthfeel. There is a juiciness that emerges, strong tea taste.
  3. dark orange, this has been natural Taiwan stored, and it is aggressive storage, but for this tea it works spectacularly well. Big uplift, wow, radiating positive feelings and uplift. Strong! Thick liquor, oily, medium-fine astringency which feels quite good without being drying.
  4. Cat pee empty cup aroma. +100 🙂 Strong tea, I can feel the alertness but I can also feel the silence. Impressive so far. Clean long aftertaste, all astringency melts within a minute or two.

Material is highly compressed and strongly rolled. Very activating without being jittery. Impressive and tuo-like. I especially like the fact that this is quite good material which has been strongly compressed and tightly rolled. 7.0
