Dry leaf still has a strong pungent flowery/honey fragrance, but the sweetness is now darker than before.
Wet leaf is sweet with a slight tomato vine green pungency. Not woody or incensy, more like fruit compote.
Quite bitter initial steep. medium-low astringency.
Steeps continue to be quite bitter. light orange liquor. A bit of cottonmouth, the astringency is growing. There is a significant degree of sweetness but it is mostly in the aroma, not the taste. Very strongly warming. This strikes me as a puerh still in its awkward stage, with too much prominent bitterness. Tastes like raw dandelion. Wet leaf aroma is lackluster, leaf material is on the smaller side, but decent. Rubbing between the fingers, it doesn’t easily disintegrate. 5.0
